We see Kira Junior School as a community made up of the children, staff and parents. We all have an important contribution to make and we value the support of parents and families. Please get in touch if you have anything to discuss, as the saying goes “our door is always open!”
A good foundation for quality education relies on a good relationship not only between the school and its students but also with parents. We always welcome parents to support school events and activities, and we have put in place a “Quality assurance committee” to do checking on the day today running of the school in order to ensure a quality and balanced education. Information about a pupils’ progress is provided regularly through monthly Reports and termly Parents’ Meetings. Information about school events and activities are supplied through Circulars, What’s-up and other forms of communication.
